PFANNKUCHEN: Pfanne (pan) Kuchen (cake)
“Just like really, really thin pancakes”
The first picture above was my initial run in with Pfannkuchen at the Mensa (cafeteria). It was cheap, tasted good, and was filled with apple sauce and raisins? Not exactly similar to my initial Pfannkuchen, courtesy of Simone’s cooking, recipe and ingredients and Ross’s.. well he helped. But with my first two trials of eating the stuff, with the help of Joey and Lindsay, I decided to make some of my own. Add milk (to the above Puda product) and or purchase (not photographed) premade. We did both, and oddly enough, inspite of my burning the spatula, Lindsay using Rachel Ray quantities of oil, and Joey burning the sausage everything turned out pretty well.
